Purpose and approach

Inside the Evidence Desk

We help coaches, sports clinicians and informed athletes ask better questions about AI-powered injury-prevention claims.

OUR STARTING POINT

The measurement comes first

Before discussing a risk label, we identify what was recorded and how a feature was derived. Uncertainty at the start of the chain remains relevant at the end.

OUR CENTRAL DISTINCTION

Association is not diagnosis

A pattern linked to an outcome in a group does not establish a cause, a personal prognosis or the right intervention for an individual.

What this website is for

Quivabubblecactus is an independent informational website operated by Quivabubblecactus Insights Ltd. Our evidence-room format follows four stages: capture, modelling, interpretation and follow-up. It is designed to make technical claims easier to inspect without pretending that complex clinical questions have simple dashboard answers.

We do not provide personal assessments, diagnose injuries, analyse uploaded videos or prescribe rehabilitation. We do not rank athletes or sell an injury-prediction service. Examples describe reasoning processes rather than recommendations for a particular person.

How we weigh a claim

We distinguish measurement validation, prediction-model evaluation and intervention evidence. A strong result in one category does not automatically support a claim in another. We look for clear populations, outcome definitions, time windows, comparators, missing-data handling and uncertainty.

Source links lead to research organisations, reporting resources and professional bodies that can help readers investigate further. Their inclusion is not an endorsement of this site, and we are not affiliated with the organisations named. This website is an educational overview, not a systematic review of every relevant study.

How we discuss products and research

Technical convenience, an attractive interface or the use of machine learning is not treated as evidence of clinical benefit. We aim to distinguish reported performance from demonstrated usefulness. Where evidence is limited, the wording should make that limitation visible rather than filling the gap with confidence.

We do not invent injury rates or use photographs as evidence of a person’s health. Training and rehabilitation imagery provides setting only; it does not imply a diagnosis or a named athlete’s medical circumstances.

Corrections and useful questions

If a statement seems inaccurate or unclear, send the page address, the relevant wording and a public source supporting your concern. We consider corrections according to their substance. We cannot promise a response time or individual advice.

General questions about a study design, a measurement claim or an ambiguous term are welcome. Please keep identifiable athlete details and medical records out of your message.
